Are there any Wendt & Kuhn Spring Angels
Are there any Wendt & Kuhn Spring Angels that are now available to help bring in this time of the year? The reason spring is so welcome by so many is they finally get a chance to return to the great outdoors without having to bundle up. It is also the time of rebirth for the plant life and all of the world animals give birth to the next generation.
This is the inspiration behind the spring collection of the Wendt & Kuhn Angels that are now available to you, the collector of fine art. This collection includes the Blossom Kinder spring collection that are not angels, but fashioned under the same quality and designs that the Wendt & Kuhn Angels are constructed.
The only true spring Wendt & Kuhn Angels are from the Easter collection. This is the annual celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. There is the Margaritten Angel with lamb. This was new back in 2005 and has been very popular since. This is a depiction of an angel sitting. She is holding a bell in one hand and petting a lamb with the other. The figurine is a total of 2 inches high. This angel has all the detail and craftsmanship as the standard Wendt & Kuhn Angels but the wings are not green with the traditional 11 dots.
There is also the Margaritten Bunny Angel in this spring collection. This is of an angel sitting again but this time she is holding carrots to feed the bunny rabbit that is at her feet. This angel is also about 2 inches tall.
The last of the Easter spring Wendt & Kuhn Angels is the only one standing. This is the Margaritten Angel with Lamb and Flower. This angel is 3 inches tall and is stand besides a grazing lamb. The flower is large and looks more like a staff.
One of the distinguishing differences between these angels and the Wendt & Kuhn Angels is of course the wings. These are smaller and are blue and white instead of green like the traditional Wendt & Kuhn Angels have. The reason for the difference is not explained by the Wendt & Kuhn Company, just that they are different.
While not really spring angels but new for 2001 are new Wendt & Kuhn Angels for the orchestra and a set for the choir. There is now the trombone player that is sitting which is 1 ˝ inches tall and the gong player that is standing and is 2 ˝ inches tall. The choir addition is a pair of Wendt & Kuhn Angels sitting on a bench that are 2 inches high and 2 inches long.
